WVTF HOSTS JURIED ART SHOW IN JULY

WVTF Public Radio and RADIO IQ present a Juried Art Show July 1 – 31. Regional artists will be given a platform to showcase their talents and celebrate their works.

Cash prizes will be awarded, from a $500 Best in Show to a $75 People’s Choice Award. The fee is $25 per entry and up to four entries per person are permitted. Eligible media include acrylics, oil, watercolors, pastels, drawings, printmaking, photography, digital art, pottery, glasswork, sculpture and mixed media.

Selected works will be exhibited in WVTF’s Art Gallery at our Broadcast Center in Roanoke through July 31. An Open House featuring live music and refreshments will be held July 16.

Proceeds will support WVTF Public Radio and RADIO IQ.
