Beverly Amsler - Morning Edition Host

Beverly Amsler has been a television and radio reporter and anchor for more than 15 years. She is an award-winning journalist who has worked at several NPR stations in Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Utah, and comes to WVTF by way of Salt Lake City, serving as the Morning Edition anchor and News Director for KCPW and as the Morning Edition anchor for KUER. She traveled to Australia to cover the Sydney Olympics in 2000 and also reported on the Salt Lake City Olympics in 2002. 

Beverly is a frequent contributor to NPR and PRI programs, notably Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Marketplace, Only A Game, Weekend Edition, and The World. She's reported on stories ranging from Olympic security to how to drive a Zamboni.

She has a B.S. degree in Music Education from Clarion University in Clarion, Pa. and a MFA in Mass Communications from Towson University in Towson, Md.
