Virginia Tech archives gifts
More than 80 volunteers have spend the past several weeks at Virginia Tech, pouring over the thousands of gifts sent in from around the world after the April 16th tragedy. WVTF's Beverly Amsler talked with the man who's leading the effort to organize the emails, cards, quilts, and other items. Listen.

Steven Estrada holds a condolence letter from President George W. Bush sent to Virginia Tech after the April 16 shootings.

This Virginia Tech quilt is one of the items that will be archived.

This mural of doves was donated to Virginia Tech by Emily Hilscher's high school. The dove in the center of the mural has blue eyes, the same color as Emily's, according to Steven Estrada.

This framed flag was flown over the White House. It was given to Virginia Tech after the April 16 shootings.
