Virginia meets fish demand - 7.5.07
Oil isn't the only thing the U.S. imports in huge amounts. We also bring in more than one and a half billion pounds of seafood a year, about 20 percent of it from China. Recent concerns about the safety of Chinese products and projections that the oceans will be depleted before the middle of this century are making domestic production more important that ever.
