Governor Ralph Northam says Virginia has recorded 67 new cases of COVID-19 since Saturday.

The Thomas Jefferson Health District announced three additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the total in that area to four.

Meanwhile, a statewide tally of positive cases hit 94 Thursday.


The Virginia Department of Health says there are now 77 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Virginia.

The state Department of Health says the individual lived in the Peninsula health district – which includes Williamsburg and Newport News.

The city of Roanoke is not issuing a state of emergency over the novel coronavirus – at least not yet.
