UVA Reacts to Gang Rape Allegations, Board of Visitors Discusses How to Move Forward

The University of Virginia Governing Board meets today to address the gang rape allegations by a campus fraternity. Students, faculty and staff are all reacting to the disturbing alleged events that have placed the historic university in an unwanted spotlight.

The University of Virginia's Board of Visitors also assembled today – along with student leaders – to address the recent Rolling Stone article that detailed the disturbing gang rape of a first year student, and what some are calling a rape culture within the Greek system at the school. Hawes Spencer gives us the details about the meeting – what was discussed and how the board plans to move forward.
