An attorney for Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax says there's a witness who can corroborate his story that he did not rape a woman while they were students at Duke University nearly 20 years ago.

Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax said Wednesday he's asked prosecutors in Boston and North Carolina to investigate sexual assault allegations two women have made against him.

Republicans in the House of Delegates say Democrats aren’t cooperating with plans to hold a legislative hearing on sexual assault allegations against Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax.

 

 

 

Two women accusing Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax of sexual assault are now going public, giving their first television interviews since coming forward in February. Fairfax continues to deny the accusations, saying the encounters were consensual.

 

 

It’s been more than a month since two women came forward with accusations of sexual assault against Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax. Fairfax denies both allegations.
