COVID-19 cases in the Roanoke region have gone up dramatically over the past two weeks.

Health officials say the data shows people need to take stronger action to get the virus under control.

Health officials in the Roanoke region are warning about the increasing trends related to COVID-19.

The number of outbreaks, hospitalizations and deaths are all higher, compared to this time last week.

The two candidates met virtually Thursday – discussing everything from COVID-19 to economic development.

COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations have remained high in the Roanoke region.  New River Valley cases have largely remained lower, though Radford has seen a bump.
