Orders had been falling throughout July to below 10,000 but last week, there were orders for over 60,000 doses.

Despite recent increases, the average number of doses is well below the numbers recorded in the spring. Around 80,000 doses were administered each day in April.

Virginia Department of Health

Today that number is below 15,000. Some employers across the state, including the Commonwealth of Virginia, have recently required their employees to be vaccinated or get weekly tests.
