Members of the Virginia Senate are taking action to censure one of their own.

"Hypocrisy and a violation of personal integrity is totally unacceptable," he says.
Or Republican Senator Jill Vogel.
"I have been incredibly disappointed and embarrassed," Vogel explains.
Or Republican Senator Mark Obenshain.
"She has long ago exhausted any remaining reservoir of trust and credibility," he says.
A bipartisan group of senators voted to censure Chase for a series of actions culminating in her description of the people who attacked the Capitol as "patriots." The resolution says she has "aggravated tensions, misled constituents and obstructed the Senate's business."
Chase says her critics are being hypocritical.
"You have the audacity to stand on the floor of this Senate and condemn me," she says. "How dare you."
Responding to the censure, Chase says she "will not be without remedy" to clear her name.
