Day Sponsorship

Celebrate a personal event, occasion, honor a friend or family member, and support WVTF Music/Radio IQ at the same time! Become a Day Sponsor. Choose any day of the year to broadcast your personalized message on the air five times.

Guidelines:

Your Day Sponsorship may be up to 20-30 words in length or needs to fit into 15 Seconds not counting the first-mentioned Day Sponsor's name. Your message will be on the air five (5) times throughout the day of your choice to reach a broader variety of available audiences.

Become a sponsor by donating at $40/mo or a $480 one time gift and you can choose the new exclusive Radio IQ or WVTF Music day sponsorship for donors as your thank you gift.

Day Sponsorships must maintain the spirit of the noncommercial nature of public radio. Specifically:

• They cannot be used as a means to further a political or social cause, nor can they be used to endorse a candidate for public office. They may not be used as a platform for a dialog with other groups, individuals, or organizations.
• Names of persons running for political office may not be announced 30 days prior to the election.
• Day Sponsorships are not designed to be forums, advocacy platforms, or statements of beliefs for issues, concerns, lifestyles, political positions, religions, etc. We reserve the right, on a case-by-case basis, to refuse announcements determined to have an adverse or deleterious effect on WVTF Music/RADIO IQ, our listeners, or financial support.
• Day Sponsor messages are not for businesses or nonprofit organizations to promote their work or their events. Please purchase a Day Package instead by contacting our Annual Giving Coordinator Brian Black.

We at WVTF Music/RADIO IQ reserve the right to decline announcements determined by us to not be in the best interests of our public radio mission, our communities, and on air/online listeners.
