At 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 4, Christine Putnam, chair of Albemarle County’s Natural Heritage Committee and an Extension Master Gardener, will give a free, in-person presentation on the county’s Biodiversity Action Plan at The Center at Belvedere, 540 Belvedere Boulevard in Charlottesville. Participants will learn why it is important to protect and restore biodiversity, what they can do to help in their own landscapes, and about efforts of Piedmont Master Gardeners to support the biodiversity plan.
