Bennett’s Village is a nonprofit organization working to build an all-abilities, multigenerational playspace right here in Charlottesville. Our Phase One accessible Treehouse at Pen Park is open and it’s time to celebrate! We are hosting Party in the Park, a free and family friendly event on April 27th from 1 to 5 in partnership with Charlottesville Parks and Rec and Josie’s Way. Not only is there a new Treehouse, but we’ll soon have an accessible path through the woods as well as a new family-style, accessible bathroom. There are 3 big reasons to celebrate inclusion and accessibility! We’ll party with activities, food trucks, a silent disco, and so much more. More information can be found at bennettsvillage.org
