Join Richmond Really Sews! at Richmond Frocktails 2024 for an incredible, family-friendly evening of fashion and fun at this exciting fashion show, followed by a celebration for sewists, friends and guests!

Frocktails is an international fashion phenomenon featuring an inspiring fashion show of clothing created by diverse, local sewists and modeled by... the sewists themselves! Members of the group Richmond Really Sews! come together for Richmond Frocktails to celebrate the art of sewing - couture clothing, crafty creations, and modern mending which will all be showcased during this celebration of sewists. This is the third year that Richmond Really Sews! has presented a Frocktails fashion show and celebration.

Frocktails is the Richmond Really Sews! annual fundraiser and all profits raised are used to provide free sewing education, free materials for classes, and maintaining equipment in our free sewing center.

While the theme of this year’s Richmond Frocktails is inspired by the movie Grand Budapest Hotel, you can expect sewists modeling their creations to take a wide interpretation on that vision. Get ready to be dazzled by beautiful designs as talented local sewists – from beginners to professionals – showcase their stunning creations on the runway. First drink (beer, wine, and NA drinks) and food (while supplies last) are included in the ticket price. Additional drinks and food available for purchase.
