Milk for Good

Help families across Virginia as Virginia Food Banks serve record numbers. Any donation of $150 or by becoming a $12.50 monthly donor you can request the Milk for Good Thank You Gift. A partnership joining WVTF Public Radio, the Federation of Virginia Food Banks and Virginia Dairy Farmers to help ease hunger across our state.

Demand on Virginia food banks is high as more families are turning to their local food pantries for help. Recent government shutdowns, layoffs, and interruptions to federal food benefit programs as well as inflation have created a great need for the support Virginia Food Banks offer families facing food insecurity.

Milk is the most requested but least available item at food banks across the country.

The Milk for Good thank you gift provides 50 servings of milk

from Virginia dairy farmers to Virginia Food Banks.

By requesting the Milk for Good Thank You Gift, a portion of your contribution will provide 50 servings of fresh milk to the tables of those in need across the state.

Support your public radio service, the Federation of Virginia Food Banks, and our local Dairy Farm Families while helping families in need across Virginia.
