At 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26, the Piedmont Master Gardeners will present a free Garden Basics class on “Foodscaping—The Edible Landscape.” The program is open to all and will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1118 Preston Avenue, Charlottesville. Master Gardeners will explain how ornamentals, fruits, vegetables and herbs can be planted together, creating a sustainable, perennial and ecologically healthy garden that provides food.
