At 2 p.m. Saturday, January 18, the Piedmont Master Gardeners will present a free Garden Basics class on “Indoor Gardening—You Don’t Need a Green Thumb” at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1118 Preston Ave. in Charlottesville. The class will cover plant selection, repotting, containers, environmental factors affecting houseplants, and how to maximize the use of greenery to beautify a home. Space is limited.
