2022 Health and Wellness Fair

The AARP Blacksburg Chapter, Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and Christiansburg Recreation Center presents the 2022 Health and Wellness Fair on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at the Christiansburg Recreation Center. The fair is free and open to all ages.

Featuring nearly 100 exhibitors representing many areas of wellness, the event will offer a variety of information and screenings. Flu shots and immunizations will be available. There will be fun demos for your health, volunteerism, recreational opportunities, free light healthy snacks. Featured will be massage therapy, in-home health services, home improvements ideas for aging in place.

A major attraction will be VCOM faculty and students offering free medical services and screenings. The public can interact with them one on one. VCOM will provide information on fall prevention, cancer screenings, osteoporosis, body mass index, immunizations, osteopathic manipulative therapy, health nutrition and diet.
