On Friday, April 25th, nearly 500 students, faculty, staff, alumni, and parent volunteers from Faith Christian School in Roanoke County will donate more than 2,000 volunteer hours serving Crisis Response International as part of Project Faith, the school’s annual service project and fundraiser. Every dollar raised through Project Faith ensures our students continue to experience Faith Christian School’s extraordinary model of Christian Classical Education—an education focused on nurturing our children’s minds, hearts, and souls toward Christ, both now and for generations to come.

This is the 24th year of Project Faith. Faith Christian School’s Project Faith has donated over 58,000 volunteer hours to 55 organizations in the local community.

Crisis Response International (CRI) was founded in 2007 to bring hope, relief, and the love of God to those impacted by natural disasters and crises. CRI’s base camp is located in Blue Ridge, VA. At their base camp, CRI trains and mobilizes heroic, compassion-driven volunteers to swiftly respond to crises and disasters both locally and worldwide. The responders are deployed on national and global relief operations to meet urgent physical needs and to address the spiritual and emotional needs of those affected by disaster. Following deployment, CRI provides volunteers counseling and activities at the base camp to decompress and attend to their own spiritual and physical needs.
