Windsor Hills United Methodist Church is pleased to announce the start of a concert series in honor of long-time staff member, Rev. Branan G. Thompson, Jr. Hauntingly Beautiful Music, performed by violinist, Kevin Matheson and pianist, Judy Clark will be the opening concert on Sunday, October 29 at 7:00 p.m. The program includes the Devil’s Trill Sonata by Tartini, Witches’ Dance by Paganini, Dance of the Goblins by Bazzini and Saint-Saens’ Danse Macabre.
The next concert of the series, Music for Mother’s Day, will be on Saturday, May 11 at 7:00 p.m. featuring Haydn, Beethoven and Dvorak, performed by pianist Anna Billias, cellist Julia Goudimova and violinist Kevin Matheson.
Admission is free, but donations will be accepted to support future concerts in Branan Thompson’s memory.
