Jelani Cobb, In Conversation on the Life and Legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr.
Journalist, acclaimed historian and educator Dr. Jelani Cobb joins RMC's president for an intimate conversation on the history and legacy of civil rights and what the movement for social change looks like today. Cobb, whose most recent book is Three or More is a Riot: Notes on How We Got Here: 2012-2025, is one of the definitive journalists of this era and Dean of Columbia's Graduate School of Journalism. He is a Peabody award winner and finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. Dr. Cobb will sign books, available for purchase through Randolph-Macon, from 5:45-6:15 p.m.
