Your Voice At The Table – Oct 8

Your Voice At The Table – Oct 8

The League of Women Voters of the Charlottesville Area is bringing new opportunities for community voices to be heard and for voters to prepare for the upcoming election.

From late September through October, the League will host a series of Listening Tables across Charlottesville and Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson counties. Listening Tables are small, informal gatherings that bring community members and candidates together—not for debates, but for conversations. These events give residents the chance to share what matters most in their daily lives and allow candidates to listen directly, in advance of the November 4th election.

One of these Listening Tables will be held for Louisa County residents to meet with their local candidates seeking election. The event will be held at the Louisa County Library on Wednesday, October 8th from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.

Add Your Voice at the Table—because democracy works best when everyone is heard! For more information and event updates, visit https://www.lwv-cva.org.
