Kanye West will not appear on Virginia’s presidential ballot this fall.
The Supreme Court of Virginia denied West’s appeal Thursday.
Several voters named to support West in the Electoral College sued the rapper and entrepreneur, saying they say they were duped into signing paperwork.
In a statement, Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring applauded the decision. He said allowing West on the ballot would have thrown the election into chaos and potentially would’ve disenfranchised thousands of Virginia voters.

Lawyers for West have argued that Herring, a Democrat, has a conflict of interest in keeping West off the ballot.
