Bring your car, truck, SUV, whatever and have some FUN!
Motorcycles, ATV's, UTV's, and Dirtbikes are welcome as well as long as racers have: Headlights and taillights and follow posted speed in paddocks and in front of the building of 5mph or you will be required to leave immediately. No warnings, this is for the safety of our spectators especially the children!

Indie rock guitar riffs paired with bluesy fuzz and grit, dancing with elements of funk, reggae, and surfy psychedelia — Chris App is forging a new and unique sound in the indie rock space. With strong inspiration from guitar-wielding icons John Mayer, Gary Clark Jr., Ocean Alley, Tash Sultana, and The Black Keys, he is able to strike a balance between free-spirited indie rock with disciplined, yet creative, blues rock and indie pop. With a versatile talent for combining his catchy, blues-infused guitar riffs with a vocal style ranging from smooth, harmonized tones to gritty, rock-inspired singing, Chris App’s bluesy motifs are the defining foundation to his improv, solo-heavy style that is conducive to new and unique melodies during his live performances.

The War And Treaty— the electrifying husband-and-wife duo of Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter—bring their powerful, soul-stirring sound to the stage on July 19 at 7:30 PM. Since forming in 2014, the acclaimed pair has captivated audiences across the country with their genre-blending mix of Americana, soul, country, and gospel.

Fresh off multiple major accolades, including nominations for Best New Artist and Best American Roots Song at the 2024 GRAMMY Awards, The War And Treaty continue to rise as one of the most dynamic acts in American music today. A hands-on, interactive, and immersive “museum on wheels,” the VA250 Mobile Museum Experience titled “Out of Many, One” is housed in a quad-expandable tractor trailer that is traveling throughout Virginia and beyond. The mobile museum brings key stories of Virginia’s rich history to schools, museums, local events, fairs, and more, highlighting every region of the state.

There is no fee to access the VA250 Mobile Experience. The mobile museum will be positioned in the main Highland parking lot and will be free and accessible to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Thursday, July 30, through Saturday, August 1.
