We’re thrilled to celebrate our new partnership with King Family Vineyards with an evening of sparkling Baroque and Baroque-inspired chamber music—we’ll even have a harpsichord! The program opens with Jolivet’s playful Pastorales de Noël, for flute, bassoon, and harp, followed by the elegant and groundbreaking violin sonata by 17th century composer Isabella Leonarda. Werner’s whimsical Instrumental-Calender is a Vivaldi’s Four Seasons-inspired celebration of the calendar year, and we’ll present—of course—the month of July! Finally, we’re bringing back Bach, with the Brandenburg Concerto No. 6, last heard at Wintergreen in 2015! Wine will be available to purchase. New this year: Food truck onsite!

Executive Director Corinne Horvath explores the vital role music plays in shaping and sustaining a community. Through stories, insights, and open conversation, she reflects on how music brings people together, strengthens connection, and enriches cultural identity—both at Wintergreen and beyond. Join her for a thoughtful and welcoming discussion on why music matters, and how its impact resonates far beyond the concert hall.

In a Wintergreen first, three conductors will grace the stage for the MountainTop Masterworks Season Finale. Nicoletta Moss will conduct world premiere celebratory work by Wintergreen Music Composer in Residence Jorge Sosa. Celebrated pianist, conductor, and artistic leader Awadagin Pratt will lead Beethoven’s third piano concerto from his seat on the piano bench! Finally, Artistic Director Erin Freeman will take the podium for Rachmaninoff’s exhilarating, feisty, and lush Symphonic Dances. All with our incredible wine selection, our joyful and vibrant community, our top notch artists, and our signature Blue Ridge view.

We’re belting it out at Belties. Grab one of Belties’ famous biscuits and enjoy brass chamber music played by our Festival Artists and LEAD instrumentalists, along with festive songs performed by our LEAD vocalists.

Join the students of the 2026 LEAD Cooperative in a free & open to the public chamber music concert showcasing the incredible talents of these budding musicians.

Get ready for a high-energy evening with GRAMMY Award-winning guitarist and vocalist Trey Hensley and his band. Celebrated for his jaw-dropping musicianship and soulful voice, Hensley blends bluegrass, country, blues, and rock with effortless virtuosity and heartfelt authenticity. A 2025 GRAMMY winner for Best Traditional Blues Album and a widely acclaimed “guitar-slinging” standout, he brings both technical brilliance and rich musical storytelling to the stage.
