Developers of the now-canceled Atlantic Coast Pipeline have laid out plans for unwinding work on the project and restoring disturbed land.In a filing with federal regulators, ACP proposed a 24-month timeline for rollback efforts in West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina.
The project was essentially complete in some areas along its proposed path.
The proposal outlines where ACP plans to clean up felled trees or leave them behind. It also suggests abandoning approximately 31 miles of installed pipe – leaving it in its current place.
