Morgan Wade at the Academy
Acclaimed singer-songwriter Morgan Wade brings her raw, heartfelt storytelling to the Academy with a performance that reflects on her journey of self-discovery, sobriety, and resilience. Her latest album, The Party Is Over (Recovered), revisits songs she wrote between the ages of 19 and 22—capturing the highs and lows of youth, the search for identity, and the struggles with addiction that she has since overcome.
From the introspective lead single “East Coast” to the candid title track and the deeply personal new song “Hardwood Floor,” Wade’s music spans a range of emotions—loneliness, love, and the hard-earned wisdom of adulthood. Known for her powerful voice and genre-blending sound, Wade has toured with stars from Chris Stapleton to Alanis Morissette, earning critical acclaim both in Nashville and beyond.
This is a unique opportunity to experience an artist reflecting on the past while embracing the present, performing songs that reveal both vulnerability and strength in equal measure.
