This December, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown explodes onto the Live Arts stage with a Technicolor tangle of love and self-discovery. Pepa’s world tilts when her lover vanishes, and her search for her beloved spirals into ex-wives, taxi drivers, best friends, and one unforgettable batch of gazpacho. From composer-lyricist David Yazbek and book writer Jeffrey Lane, this rollicking musical is adapted from Pedro Almodóvar’s cult classic and brought to life by your talented community!
Director Xavier Taylor (of Kinky Boots) calls it witty, hopeful, and charming, a story of independence and resilience with a vibrant Latin-infused score.
