Va. News: Lee County says it doesn’t require a Name Change, Fredericksburg unveils Historic Alley

A long-hidden piece of history in Fredericksburg is now being recognized thanks to the work of a group of volunteers.  And in response to a letter from the governor, Lee County says its name has no connection to the Confederacy.Those have been among the most read stories over the past week at the Virginia Public Access Project's VA News link.

Fred Echols is a long time member of the WVTF/RADIO IQ news department and produces news content as well as public affairs programs.
